Yandex plans to launch cashless payment service Yandex Pay

MOSCOW, Feb 9 (PRIME) -- Russia's IT giant Yandex plans to launch its own cashless payment service Yandex Pay, the company said in a statement on Tuesday.

"Service Yandex Pay available on Yandex’ web pages, including within the interface of the service, which allows users to put in and keep data of their banking cards, including (if the function is chosen) to make tokens for them, manage the banking card data, use the banking card data to proceed with cashless payments to a buyer connected to the service," Yandex said.

The service is available for personal noncommercial use.
